BiH Council of Ministers approves draft laws on patents, trademarks, and trade secrets

SARAJEVO, June 16 (FENA) – The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the proposal of the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH, has finalized four draft laws aimed at aligning legislation with the European Union's legal framework. These include the Law on the Protection of Trade Secrets as an Intellectual Property Right, the Law on the Protection of Topographies of Semiconductor Products, the Patent Law, and the Trademark Law. The proposed laws, marked with the 'EI' designation, will be submitted to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH for consideration under a shortened procedure.
